Migrate 11.2.0.4 from AIX 6 to AIX 7

Hi,

I need to migrate a 11.2.0.4 database from current box which has AIX 6 to a new box which has AIX 7. Its a non-RAC RDBMS with EBS application. Would like to know if this would work, if I just install 11g in new box, relink it then use RMAN or else to copy the database. Its a 7TB database.

On a second thought could I just re-map SAN storage to new box after shutting down database ? Kind of cold backup - recovery.
