How to create an asset with Accumulated Depreciation amount

Hello,

We are on PeopleSoft 9.2. We have a capital asset transferred (Acquisition code: Transferred & specific Transaction Code) into the company. The asset has an accumulated depreciation. Which page/navigation should we use to enter the asset in PeopleSoft along with the accumulated depreciation? Can we use Basic Add ? We don't want to depreciate the asset though. Should we set the asset status to "Received- Not In Service" and SAVE the newly created asset.
