Excel Output is downloading in flat file without extension from EDGE & Chrome

Hi ,

We just upgraded from R12.1.3 to R12.2.10. There are lots of programs having output in excel format. We also implemented JWS now. So using EDGE & Chrome browsers, excel output is coming with big size and without extension. We need to change to .xlsx to open up from desktop.

We also found "Concurrent Output For Word Or Excel Does Not Open Correctly When Using Chrome Or Edge" Metalink note which suggested patch 32840135 . We also applied replacement patch of this - patch 16774851.

But still it's not correctly working.

Please help if anyone has encountered this issue and got resolution of this.
