Oracle Licenses and support
Hello,
Can someone clarify licensing model for current Oracle Database ?
I remember that in the past Oracle License was bought once and only support has to be paid annually ca 30% License costs if needed. Now it seems it is different and license is valid ony for specific time. Additionally it is possible to buy only license (without support). So when license expires I understand that it is needed to buy new one to be able to use further oracle. Do I need to do any actions after buying or it is enopugh to keep invoice to prove ?
I noticed as well some issues with SI registration. Even if I use valid SI from the invoice I am getting response that SI is invalid. Is it because software was baught withour support or it is the different issue.
