opatch analyze gets "the selected platform must match the inventory platform of the selected patch."

I want to apply patch 32397127 (Generic platform) on to my FMW 12.2.1.3 on Windows 64 bit platform.

opatch apply gets,

Conflicts/Supersets for each patch are:

Patch : 32397127

Conflict with 27479453

OPatch failed with error code = 73


But opatch analyze gets "the selected platform must match the inventory platform of the selected patches."

It appears to detect the Generic platform of the patch as a mismatch against the Windows 64 bit platform of the FMW installation.

Any ideas to resolve?
