GL segment value set with over 100,000 values

Client wants a segment in the chart of accounts that will grow to more than 100,000 segment values. The other 6 segments won't have more than about 200 values each. Will this cause a problem for the GL balances cube. I heard that having that many segment values could exceed the essbase cubes abilities but can't find any concrete information.
