Purge Stuck Life Events

We are using PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Image 38. We are 2 1/2 years since implementation and I am getting numerous calls from employees trying to submit a new life event where an old date is stuck in the date field. This happens when an employee started a life event (1) some time ago, but didn't "Cancel" the life event...maybe they used the wrong event, and just exited the life event without properly Canceling. Benefits Administration then voided the incorrect event (1) because they properly used the other event (2). A year later, the employee might want to submit an
