Cost differences in Credit orders

Hi, Kindly let us know the feedback on the below.

A credit order is been placed for a related sale order but there exist cost difference between sale order and credit order due to cost change that had happened in the middle. In such cases how this cost change on the credit order will be handled from both SCM and Finance?

Is there any other way apart from JE from finance perspective.
