Quick Customer/Contact Create is not copying Preferred Communication settings from Template Contact
Contact Template Preferred Communication settings are not copied to the new Contact during Quick Customer/Contact Create.
Preferred Communication settings cannot be updated without changing the effective date which adds an extra unwanted step in the process. Invoice for newly added customer is dated the same date as the initial effective date for the Customer/Contact.
Is there a delivered way to change the default Preferred Communication setting? Or, is there a way to insure that ALL Contact template settings are copied to the new Contact?

We are live in production with Image 36, PT 8.58 and testing Image 40 PT 8.59.03 for production go-live March 2023.
