OLVM: Setup Network Bond without switch configuration

Dear experts,

I am preparing a 3 node cluster using OLVM 4.3.10 based on oVirt project with the purpose of a future sobstittuion of a VMware Cluster. My question is the following: Which is the best bonding method to use with 4 NIC 1GBE? I mean using vmware in a vSwitch I simply use the default teaming. In OLVM - KVM - the only method that is working is active-backup, all the others are not working (no connection) and since I am not using LACP I thought I could use TLB or ALB but none of this is working.

What am I am doing wrong?
