In our Oracle-heavy development environment, we've a goodly number of databases, and often those databases get updated or switched out or the like. This has been successfully dealt with thus far through the command line. However, the Enterprise Manager toolbox evidently has a great many utilities useful for administrator tasks like tracking database versions and uptime, doing blackouts, that sort of thing. Now, we do not have Cloud Control and don't really have much of a chance of getting Cloud Control anytime soon. However, we do have Enterprise Manager for WebLogic (specifically a WebLogic stack plugged into our databases) as
