ODA support older database version after reimage to 19.X

in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered ✓

This is x7-2-HA ODA image 12.2.1.4.0 BM going to reimage to no later than 19.10 ODA image.

When the ODA reimaged to 19.X, can following database version can keep existing (no change, no upgrade, etc), because need sync the version of other database system and third party app limitation.

Would appreciate shed me light on below questions about ODA:

Q1: Is it still truth when ODA image version can have lower RDBMS + PSU clone from lower ODA image version's RDBMS+PSU clone, as soon as the higher version the ODA GI version support?

eg: my ODA version is 19.x and I may found RDBMS clones (ie: PSU prepatched db home) from lower version of ODA image 18.x or 12.x and using its 'prepatched PSU dbhomes'
