Hey all,

I am looking for real world expert options for a migration I am planning.

We are migrating from standalone 19c instances to 19c pluggable.

Both environments are running Linux redhat 7x

both environments will be ASM

no other Oracle products are being used

they will be moved to a new server and transfer speeds are not great so I dont think a DB Link options would be a good idea.

would it be better to convert the standalone on current server then move the file to another server or would it be better to just export the standalone and import it into the CDB as a PDB?
