Rate Type Name Change

Hello

We have certain existing Exchange Rate Types defined in GL  and assigned in the Setups like Revaluation, Projects Billing, Payable Options  and are being used in the existing systems for billing and Invoicing

It is observed by the management that the naming convention is incorrect for these Rate Types and needs to be modified and updated.

Need advice as by changing the naming convention will it have any impact on the above existing  set ups where these Rate Types are already assigned and will the updated Rate Type will be visible on the set ups?

Also will it have any impact on the historical transactions?
