ODA X8-2 (s) LACP Pre-Deploy

Can you configure LACP for ifcfg-btbond1 "pre-deploy" simply by editing the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-btbond1 and changing line to "BONDING_OPTS="mode=4 miimon=100 lacp_rate=1"? Do you have to change anything in the ifcfg-p7p1 & ifcfg-p7p2 files? If you do change to LACP Pre-Deploy, will Deploy complete successfully?

There were several discussions that said to only change Post-Deploy, and the original question posed was how to Deploy if the switches cannot be altered from LACP (alternatives were to temporarily plumb em1 just to get through Deploy, but was unsure if Deploy script could handle the switches being set for LACP on btbond1)
