How to reset Back order line back to primary location without manual intervention

-- Place an order / line with quantity 30 larger than available 20 quantity with location/lot assigned , and it split into two lines while the 2nd line with quantity 10 on back order

-- However the 2nd line on back order has got the location/lot from the original line (first line) , which makes confusion.

--If not looking manual intervention to change the location/lot on back order line, Is there any other way to reset the location / lot for back order line to primary location?

-- Tried back order release while it didn't reset the location / lot.
