Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Lead Time for Buy Items

Hello Experts,

I have a question related to Lead times in BUY items.

Some of our BUY items are having longer delivery /supply times from Supplier (around 180 days)

In this case

If we setup processing lead time as 180, ASCP recommends the suggested need by date as 180+sysdate from time of planning. Is this correct behavior?
Since 180 days are very longer time and we cannot maintain high stock level . Is there any way, we can have ASCP recommends this in advance?
