Granting IProcurement rights to a Role account

We have a requirement to grant iProcurement rights to a role account. A role account is currently a User account NOT assigned to a specific individual. It may be used as a Group recipient for workflow notifications and e-mails etc.

The requirement arose due to staff turnover within a department.

In theory there is only 1 administrator in this department, however, in reality there have been no fewer than 8 people in the post in the last 12 months (casual workers, temps, permanent staff filling in, staff who did not pass probation).

Staff churn has left a number of legacy orphaned purchasing requests, and partially completed orders which in turn has created extra work to disentangle because of different people fulfilling different steps in the system and emails lost as they were directed to ex-members of the workforce.
