Hello,

Are modern Smart View versions, 20.x and later, dependent on Internet Explorer? We have a document directing Smart View users to configure these IE settings, and I want to believe these instructions are obsolete. What do we know about this?

Internet Explorer Settings

 

To clear the cache so that Smart View is using the latest xml file version posted on the http server, set the following options in IE.


·        Select Tools, then Internet Options

·        In the General tab, Browsing history group, select Settings

·        In the ‘Check for new versions of stored pages’ section, select ‘Every time I visit the webpage’
