eSupplier DRAFT Registrations are obsolete - OK to change status?

Hello. We have several obsolete supplier registrations that are in DRAFT status. We would like to know if it would harm anything if we used SLQ to change the status to 'CANCELED' instead. Our software is: FSCM 9.2; PUM 38; PeopleTools = 8.58.08
