Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. UPDATED Announcement for US Payroll Customers: Washington Cares (WAC) Tax Delayed Until July 2023

On December 22, 2021, Vertex issued a Critical Tax Change Alert notification stating:

"During the 2022 legislative session, the WA Legislature and the governor announced plans to change and improve the WA Cares fund.

In response to the statement issued by the governor of Washington, until we receive direction from the state of WA about changes to this legislation, we are pushing out the effective date for the WA Cares tax to 4/1/2022. The effective date change will be included in Interim Update #12/21.01, scheduled for release on December 28, 2021. We will monitor this legislation and provide updates as we receive them from the state."
