Future commitment Sales Order

I have changed in-branch plant constant specific commitment days to 10 days when I have entered Sales Order on 12/29/2021 but the pick date is not calculated as a future date (01/07/2022), all dates are populated as 12/29/2021. Please assist me to enter Sales Order with future commitment Order.
