How to highlight fields or text on OAF Pages for EBS version 12.2.9?

I want to highlight a specific text and fields on OAF Pages for EBS version 12.2.9 in order to visually present the users to read and perform the desired actions. Please suggest me whether I can do this via personalization or I have to carry out customization? If personalization, please suggest the steps.
