ASMLib does not identify the disks [DATA1]

in Database - RAC/Scalability (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered

I plan to add node to my 19c cluster, after i installed all require packages

yum install oracleasm-support

yum install kmod-oracleasm


and attached share storage and checked it by lsblk i got all attached successfully.


but after i did  

oracleasm scandisks 

and 

oracleasm listdisk 

I got missing one disk, then after query all osm disks by 

oracleasm querydisk DATA2

Disk "DATA2" is a valid ASM disk

/dev/sdh1: LABEL="EPMPDB01_DATA2" TYPE="oracleasm"

/dev/sdi1: LABEL="EPMPDB01_DATA2" TYPE="oracleasm"

I got one asm disk refer to two disks but in orginal node refer to one disk


error in cluvfy
