Delete users from dummy companies

Is it possible to delete users from 'dummy' companies?

We created multiple companies and assigned users to them. However, most are 'dummy' companies as these are only created to colour tasks in the Work Plan.

I now want to delete some users completely via the Identity Cloud Service. However, only users from the original owning company are visible in the IDCS. Users from the dummy companies are not. I'm therefore unable to delete the users.

Changing the dummy companies to be owner companies does not help.
