Changing quantities on SO order created from Sales Quote (SQ type)

E1 9.2, tools - 9.2.2.5

Sales Quote created and accepted by customer. SO Sales order generated from SQ quote.

Some of the original product is out of stock. Need to increase one of the other items' quantities. Error message saying, Qty change exceeds blkt open order qty.

I need to be able to add additional quantities, over and above the original quote quantity. Is this possible?
