Steps to provide read-only access for synonyms with db links

Hi All -

We have a small Apex application built on db 19c. It has just a few schemas. Some of the schemas contain synonyms which are using db links connecting to an EBS database (via a read-only EBS user/connection).

Some members of our team require a "read-only" account locally to perform troubleshooting/analysis. They would like to have access to these synonyms with the remote objects as part of the account.

Question here is how to provide access to those synonyms having the remote objects. Would it just be a regular grant on the synonym? Or, is there anything else that needs to be done in this case ... possibly, creating a view on the synonym first?
