Unable to switchover Error: ORA-16662: network timeout when contacting a member

Hi to all,

we have a two node Oracle RAC database 19.11.0.0.0 in a Oracle Linux 7 box, el7uek.x86_64, and a standalone standby physycal database 19.11.0.0.0 in a Oracle Linux 7 box, el7uek.x86_64.

Primary database hosts are "prim-db1" and "prim-db2".

Standby database host is "stby-st1".


We have configured Dataguard:

DGMGRL> show configuration


Configuration - dg_config_primdb


 Protection Mode: MaxPerformance

 Members:

 primdb - Primary database

stbyst - Physical standby database


Fast-Start Failover: Disabled


Configuration Status:

SUCCESS  (status updated 52 seconds ago)


We can do the switchovers from primary "prim-db1" node without problems:


[oracle@prim-db1 ~]$ dgmgrl sys/...

DGMGRL> switchover to stbyst

.....

New primary database is stbyst
