Milestones and Query Security

I have been asked if PS Query observes Milestones security settings. My initial testing with STDNT_CAR_MLSTN in query indicates that it does not. It appears if a user has query access to STDNT_CAR_MLSTN, there is nothing to limit the query results to only milestones they have permissions to in Milestones security. Can anyone confirm or clarify?

We are on CS 9.2 PUM 23.
