why depreciation is not calculated for some assets

Hi All , I have a problem with calculating depreciation for sum assets ;

sometimes the users enable depreciation and disable it for some assets

but once they tried to enable depreciation again for these assets the depreciation is not calculated despite of the depreciation flag is checked and the remaining life for the asset more than 2 years

so please if any body can help me with this issue I will be grateful
