US Payroll - Negative deduction not adding back into SIT wages
Staff posted a negative amount to the PERS contribution deduction to give back to employees an over-stated furlough reduction in 2021 and find that the SPWL and the W2 register are under-reporting the state wages in box 16 as it seems to have reduced the state wages twice instead of adding the earnings back one time. Staff has run the Generate Run Balances for Group level as well as for this specific run balance where the negative deduction was posted and it had no effect.
