Exchange rate in Purchase Requisition

Hi Team

End user created PR in DEC-21 with exchange rate (corporate as of dec-21 and say its 1.3), then the PR goes for approval hierarchy and the final approval approved the PR in Jan-22 where the exchange rate of jan-22 is different than dec-21 (say jan-22 exchange rate is 1.4). So once the final approval approved the PR in Jan-22 the PR amount changed according to the exchange rate of Jan-22 (1.4) which is completely wrong since the amount in the original PR is the amount agreed with the supplier.

Is it standard functionality exchange rate consider approved date rather than creation date, please confirm.
