Database is snipping all the session regardless of its last active time

Please help us get a solution for the below issue

IDLE_TIME profile parameter is set to 180 minutes. All the sessions that are inactive after 3 hrs are snipped irrespective of its last active time.

Sessions that were active few minutes ago are also snipped once elapsed time for those sessions crosses 180 minutes.



When the same is tested on 19c database its working as expected, only sessions that were inactive for specified time limit are killed.
