Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Composite Indexes

Hello All,

My Apps team want 2 composite indexes on 2 columns , but in different order.

ie. Index 1 (colA, colB) , Index 2 (colB, colA) ...

With Oracle Skip Scanning this should not be needed.

Is there a reason or benefits (or good arguments) that both Indexes are needed?
