How to Mass Add Assets to a New Asset Book

Hello:

In PeopleSoft, what is the best way to mass add assets to a new asset book? We will be adding new assets to a new asset book, so we do not want to copy the existing assets from the existing book.

I have found in PeopleBooks there are a couple of methods to mass add assets:

1) Load Transactions into AM Page with Mass Change Data

2)Adding Assets with the Excel to CI utility

For both methods I have not been able to find the steps on how to complete the mass add assets for a specific asset book. Does anyone have information on the steps to complete either method?
