Configuring Oracle Linux Manager 2.10 for AD authentication

Previously support provided documentation on how to enable ad authentication using a pam via Oracle Linux Manager (formerly spacewalk) has been removed. Now support no longer provides said info and the previous document can no longer be found.

Running on OL 7.9 w/ OLM 2.10

I did document my previous work but either I've not included a step or there is more to be done now. Any help appreciated.

yum install pam_krb5.x86_64 


Add the following line to /etc/rhn/rhn.conf 

pam_auth_service = rhn-satellite 


Create a pam config file with the following content 

Cat << EOF > /etc/rhn/rhn.conf 

Howdy, Stranger!
