upgraded from Oracle 12.2 to 19c and patched per DB Jan 2022 release Update

When we after the upgrade of Oracle database from 12.2 to 19C - did patch per DB Jan 2022 release Update (quarterly patching) - the log file:

-rw-r--r-- 1 oracle oinstall 10674679 Jan 21 16:57 33515361_apply_<instance_name>_2022Jan21_16_55_14.log - log file is huge.

Is it a normal thing? Is it a different format of the log after the upgrade to 19C?
