virtinfo -a fails to return Control domain info

in Oracle Solaris Virtualization (LDOM and ZONES) (MOSC) 5 commentsAnswered

Running Solaris 11.5 on various T8, T5, and other T servers. The virtinfo -a command stops returning the Control domain info at some point for no clear reason. Output from a guest ldom looks like this:

[testapp9-ld]: virtinfo -a

Domain role: LDoms guest I/O

Domain name: testapp9-ld

Domain UUID: edfced05-fee6-4fe1-baba-94f3e13d7162

Control domain: Unknown

Chassis serial#: Unknown

Outside of a reboot, is there a way to fix this?
