inactive sessions memory consumption

Oracle Database Version - 19.13.0.0.0

Linux - Oracle Linux Server release 7.9

Hi,

Server is memory bounded and only 12% free, when i checked in database huge inactive sessions. Does it really consume memory i . e inactive process.

Do we have any script or blog something like to do in depth analyze of memory issues in linux.

like how to release cache/buffer buffer. Top is not showing heaviest memory consumer.
