ACA Reporting to State of California, new TCC# each year
This is the second year we will be reporting efiles to the California Franchise Tax Board for ACA 1094/1095C information. Unlike the IRS, California requires issuers to retest each calendar year, and they issue a new TCC# for state reporting. I got my new TCC#, but in EBS (12.2.6), I assume I have to overwrite the prior year's TCC# with the new one for 2021. There is no year field on the GRE/Legal Entity>Others>ACA States TCC Information entry. Can anyone confirm that? If so, does that affect prior year historical information/viewing? All our prior year reporting is closed/done.
