How do I swap a component with 943 related items for only 26 items without having to delete 917?

Hi! We are using JDE World A9.3 for Engineering Changes. I am trying to process a SWAP for a Component used in 943 items, but I only want to swap it on 26 items. How do I use the system best to avoid having to omit/delete 917 related items off?
