Disable Dependents Screen from BSS Outside of Open Enrollment

Good Afternoon All!

We implemented BSS for 2021 Open Enrollment and all was successful and worked well. We closed open and were under the impression that employees would only be able to view current benefits when open was not open.

Well come to find out (most with New Hires) when an employee has a life event that is detected or unprocessed it also enables them access to Update their benefits.

Turns out that we can update this Function BEN_SS_BNFT_ENRT and change the parameters to the following: displayDate=N&allowEnrt=N&ssProcessUnrestricted=N&sessionDate=&sendFYINotification=N&wfProcessName=FYI_NOTIFICATION_PRC&displayAgreement=N
