Integration with Active Directory for Authentication

I'm running Enterprise Manager 13.4 Cloud Control on Windows 2019. I'm wondering how to Integrate it with my Active Directory so our DBAs can logon with AD accounts. Is the setup I should be using the one outlined here Security Features (oracle.com) ? Does this work side by side with the out-of-box local auth?
