Rich Text Type DE in Custom Prints bullets don't show

I am using a Rich Text Type DE in my business process and the corresponding custom print. However, the bullets and paragraph numbering do not show in the custom print even though I am using the code (html2fo) and the data type is XML in the data model in the BI Publisher environment.
