Upgrading SE RAC DB 12.1.0.2 to EE RAC DB 19c

Hello,

We are planning on upgrading our production Oracle 12.1.0.2 Standard edition RAC two node database to an Enterprise Edition 19c two node database.

Technical details are below:

The current production database version is 12.1.0.2 Standard Edition

The grid version for the 12c database is 18.0.

The operating system is AIX (AIX mykpkrnsdbc01al 2 7 00FB91284C00)

The size of the database is 1.6 Terabyte

We are looking for the shortest downtime for an upgrade to 19c.

(1) I want to verify with the current 12c RAC db and 18.0 Grid that a rolling upgrade is possible with no db downtime (i.e. one node is brought down and upgraded at a time) ?
