Supervisor Hierarchy Query Question

I am familiar with pulling supervisor data from PeopleSoft, but we've been asked to pull in hierarchy data above supervisor and was wondering if anyone had any experience. Here is the scenario in my example. We are sharing reports with each Director in our company and wanted to pull the Director name into our query so we can easily split it up and distribute. The problem is Directors can be 1, 2, 3+ levels above an employees supervisor. This is making it a difficult and manual process. I was wondering if there is a way
