I have old alerts not being cleared from the dba_outstanding alerts in a gen1 database.

I have OCI 12.1 oracle gen1 database. Third-party monitoring tools are using the dba_outstanding alert table for reporting tablespace and FRA issues. These issues ( running low on space ) were remedied but the alerts are still not cleared out in the alert dba views. We are not using emcli/agents. How can these alerts be manually cleared in the database instance?
