Oracle Linux Manager 2.10 with two points in time

Hi,

This could be a wrong or maybe a silly question, and considering that OLM is already a specific point in time from public YUM repositories, is it possible to set OLM to an extra point in time for updating another set of servers?

Supposing that we have 2 different cycles for updating/patching:

  • Cycle 1 for monthly updates (refreshing from public YUM repos on day 1 of each month)
  • Cycle 2 for weekly updates (refreshing from public YUM repos every Sunday)

For cycle 1 we want to:

  • Start updating all development and test servers from day 2 of each month
  • Update all production servers from day 15 of each month (this way we let 2 weeks for testing and ensure there are no issued coming from updates/patches)

Howdy, Stranger!
