Is it possible to recover an SBC from OutOfService state but rebooting it?

Hello Community

We have been carrying HA tests with AP1100 and we found an scenario on which one of the cluster members may enter in OutOfService state while the mate remains as Active. Service is not compromissed but long term cluster stability is indeed affected.

So, we would like to share some thoughts that could contribute to mitigate or overcome the situation:

  1. OOS SBC display the same led pattern as a regular Standby on the front panel, so visual inspection is useless. We would have cases with snmp monitoring but we may have anothers without this configuration active. Are there other alternatives to detect this situation than snmp monitoring or direct state inspections using CLI?

Howdy, Stranger!
