Discrete Job Quantity Equals Zero?

Good morning hive mind,

We have a bit of a head scratcher this morning. We are running EBS 12.2.8. We have noticed recently that we have about 10 discrete jobs that were released off of ASCP with some odd job quantities. The job start quantity is zero but the MRP Net quantity is greater than zero. For example, one job order has a start quantity of 0 and the MRP Net quantity of 3. These job orders are standard jobs.

  1. How does a scenario like this happen? Is there a profile option that allows this?
  2. I thought MRP Net quantity had to be less than Start Quantity. Every time I try to reproduce this, I get an error saying it must be less than or equal to Start Quantity.

Howdy, Stranger!
